In computer, a Control key is a modifier key which, when pressed in conjunction with another key, performs a certain action.

The Control key rarely performs any function when pressed by itself.

The Control key is located on or near the bottom left side of most keyboards (in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 9995-2), with many featuring an additional one at the bottom right.

It is usually labelled Ctrl.

  Keyboard Function Keys

   

  Keyboard Function Keys: A function key is a key on a computer or on the computer keyboard which can be programmed so as to cause an operating system program to perform certain actions.The function keys are arranged at the top of your keyboard numbered across from F1 to F12 and are commonly referred to as F keys or FN keys.
