Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to share!
For example: if your name was Mary Anne Leigh, your username might be leima01p
All unisa default passwords contain at least 8 characters; with the first four letters from your family name (in lower case) and the day and month of your birth as seen in this example (eg smit2305).
Insert the letter x, for all family names of less than 4 letters, (eg ngxx for Ng).
Students that have a University of South Africa (UniSA) student ID automatically get an OUA account, but if you don’t have a second name, or didn’t provide it when you registered with OUA, the letter ‘y’ is used in your username instead.
Example:
- if your name was Mary Leigh, your username might be leimy01p
- if your birthday was 3 May, your password would be leig0305
Your username will normally be the same as your name, so if your last name has less than 3 letters, the letter ‘y’ is used in your username and the letter ‘x’ is used in your password.
Example:
- if your name was Mary Le, your username might be leymy01p
- if your birthday was 3 May, your password would be lexx0305
