Role and Responsibilities:

  • Tracks, monitors and develops reports on project performance against expectations across multiple projects in ITSEN.
  • Assists more senior project managers in the development of project plan and day to day aspects of managing projects and program.
  • Support procurement strategy, comprehension of WBG procurement processes and development of procurement documentation.
  • Design, implement, and administer change management strategies for several complex technical rollouts affecting WB staff.
  • Internal change management activities within ITSEN through communications, marketing, and client engagement.
  • Design high quality presentations for Sr Management to deliver sophisticated technical messages in business terms.
  • Assist with the development of surveys to assess client feedback and efficiency of communications activities, using a range of tools and tactics, e.g. e.g. scorecards, usage reports, surveys, client focus groups, polls.
  • Design, write, produce and disseminate internal change communication products.
  • The IT Analyst works closely with ITSIA and ITSSM project teams, throughout the project lifecycle, to create and deliver IT client change management plans which define how IT solution/service is rolled out to WBG and ITSEN clients. IT Analyst will incorporate the following plans, as needed: communications, marketing, learning, support, client management, and sponsorship. Further, the IT Analyst provides procurement strategy and project management support for selected projects within ITSEN portfolio as needed.

Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in IT service delivery projects & involvement in different stages of an IT project cycle is preferred.
  • Certification in Client Change Management is strongly desired including proven experience in Change Assessment methods: PCT (Project Change Triangle), ADKAR readiness assessment, and Change Risk Assessment is desired.
  • Knowledge of the WBG organization and how technology is used in different parts of the organization is desirable.
  • Understanding of the ITS work structure and operations, as well as experience in change management engagement with other VPUs in the WBG is an asset.
  • Project management skills, strong organizational, research and analytical skills. High attention to detail. Excellence in writing, editing, and producing different types of media such as multi-media, web, email, and print.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a matrix management and high-pressure environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal/external partners in a multicultural and fast paced environment. Ability to develop solid relationships with key clients and build productive partnerships.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with external vendors (e.g. graphics design firms) to produce high quality communications products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
