HP is driving the future of digital manufacturing from a vision of connected, intelligent devices that enable our customers to scale in production thru the HP 3D Printing technologies.  In this dynamic position, you will be responsible of the definition and execution of the Quality policy for the 3D Printing Division. This is a position requires you to be a great peer as well as a great leader, and strong coordination with team members across a wide variety of backgrounds and goals is critical.  Other valued skills are project management and communication skills.  In this role you will be helping to create a culture of change, collaboration, communication and enabling technology shifts across the organization.  You are a leader  with progressive technical experience, a demonstrated progression of management scope, and a passion for managing technical talent in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Definition and deployment of a Quality Management System that is suitable for the vertical and applications that HP wants to play in. Typically a QMS should be inclusive of:   a) Quality System Roles and Responsibility Matrix; b) Management Responsibility Procedure; c) Regulatory Compliance and d) Continuous Improvement
  •  Implementation of a Divisional continuous improvement (CI) program across all functions according to the ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.. This CI Program will include CAPA processes to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
  • Shift our New Product Development (NPD) culture from reactive to proactive. Implementation of an E2E risk management process (from product architecture definition to disposal) that supports the organizational continuous improvement processes and maximizes the efficiency of our quality plan.
  • Improve the efficiency of our NPD quality management systems reducing cost of testing.
  • Improve the effectiveness of our NPD quality management systems through the improvement of the quality of our new products.
  • Set quality metrics and audits. In collaboration with the Product Generation functions implement QMS Audits and KPIs system to ensure the effectiveness of the quality processes implemented. In collaboration with SC and Operations implement Audits, Policies and Procedures that ensure effectiveness of the quality plans implemented and consistency with the risk management policies and processes.
  • Ensure consistency and completeness of the quality processes(audits, test plans, quality plans,…) for all the organizations involved in the development and delivery of our 3D solutions.

 

Education and Experience:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience required. May have advanced university degree.
  • Typically 15 or more years of related work experience, including 10 years of people management experience

 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  •  Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution.
  • Organizational and strategic management skills, including budget and business planning and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage human capital across multiple geographies and organizations to drive workforce development and achieve desired results.
  • Advanced communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences (e.g. written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English and local language.
  • Extensive business acumen, technical knowledge, and industry experience encompassing one or more engineering, technology, and product domains.
  • Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting with senior management and executive roles for internal and external partners.
  • Good understanding of HP’s policies and processes
