This position requires 2 days per week in the office.

How will you fight for an AIDS-free generation?

The Applications Analyst is responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and support of financial applications deployed throughout IT with their main focus to be on the UNIT4 ERP. Other applications include but are not limited to Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, Replicon and building custom reports using PowerBI. This role works independently with senior staff to design and implement innovative solutions for organizational needs.  They will apply in-depth technical skills to solve problems, address requests and concerns related to the UNIT4 ERP and other financial applications, and provide recommendations for changes and upgrades.

The Applications Analyst assists with developing functional requirements needed for new system/workflow/report; collaborates with EGPAF users in the planning, design, build and testing of UNIT4 ERP; provides positive and timely support to ERP users; writes project documentation and technical operations guidelines for software applications; and provides technical guidance to Junior Applications Analysts.

No two days are alike at EGPAF, but what can you expect in this role?


  • Assists in all phases of UNIT4 ERP implementation; liaises with staff and vendor (ITK) when working toward best possible solutions for EGPAF, including but not limited to during Validate and Test phases of the implementation.
  • Supports integration of key financial systems into UNIT4 ERP.
  • Manages UNIT4 ERP for upgrades and enhancements.
  • Extend staff’s knowledge and usage of UNIT4 ERP and best practices at EGPAF.

Financial Systems  

  • Provide application support, analysis, and administration for the Foundation’s business systems including but not limited to: QuickBooks, Replicon , Dynamics GP.

Report Writing  

  • Develop reports using SSRS, PowerBI, and other reporting tools.
  • Develop ad-hoc reporting on systems and application.

System Development  

  • Interpret business requirements.
  • Develop functional requirements and develop an implementation project plan.
  • Develop and streamline automated business processes to facilitate EGPAF work via SharePoint workflows.
  • Create and provide training and supporting documentation on applications.


  • Provide day-to-day help to staff on application use issues.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of staff.
  • Provide strong written and verbal communication to domestic and international colleagues.
  • Acquire and develop professional skills that benefit the Foundation and the individual.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in some or all of the following:
    • Functional expertise in UNIT4 ERP a must
    • Project management
    • Experience managing/configuring UNIT4 ERP
    • Knowledge of financial applications, Power BI and PowerApps
    • Statistics, financial analysis, or related disciplines.
    • Systems analysis and relational databases.
    • Experience with creating ETL and SSIS jobs
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel including VBA

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Experience with SQL
