Children’s and Family Charitable organization (DCFCO) is working in partnership with USAID/ISHDO. DCFCO is funded by USAID- ISHDO as SUB PARTNER under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) to implement a three years Family-focused HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment activity( FFHPCT) in Oromia Region. The activity aims to accelerate and sustain HIV epidemic control in Ethiopia through the delivery of high impact Family-focused HIV prevention, care, and Treatment Activity in selected 6 woredas ( Dugda district Meki town, Batu Town, West Arsi Dodola Town, Bale Robe Town , Bale Goba Town and Ginir town) of Oromia regional state and would like to invite interested applicants for the following position.

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of Executive director the project coordinator is responsible to provide the technical oversight and support for Family focused HIV prevention, care and treatment service (FFHPCT) in the region, specifically enhancing key government partnership in the region, organizing consultative and joint supportive supervision with government, participating in team supportive supervision, scale up best practice and success stories in region, tracking deliverable, represent DCFCO in region in any meeting and communication, etc.
She/he provides evidence-based technical support jointly with DCFCO head office team; support government staffs to enhance community structure and resource mobilization efforts in the regions.

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibility #1: Program Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
• Participate in program planning development
• Participate in team supportive supervision visit and make follow up to ensure identified gaps to be filled timely
• Organize and conduct joint supportive supervision with key government in the region at least once per quarter
• Organize consultative meeting with key government stakeholder in the regions to ensure partnership with the government enhanced
• Work with BOLSA and health Bureau to enhance CCC (community structure) capacity and resource mobilization
• Takes initiatives to progressively include communities and local organizations in participatory planning and implementation of the project
Job Responsibility #2: Program Implementation , Reporting and Technical Support:
• Supports implementing partners on the development of detailed implementation plans (DIP) of the project together with team and ensuring quality and alignment with the program goals.
• Works with DCFCO team to assess and identify technical assistance needs with regard to technical skills, supervision support, etc. to support implementing partners as per the finding
• Ensures that appropriate technical and financial support is provided timely for partners to enhance their capacity to effectively undertake and support program implementation.
• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Donor and Government Report
Job Responsibility #3: Networking and Learning:
• Establishes and maintain formal and informal communication mechanisms with government, community partners and other stakeholders particularly with health and social service-related sectors
• Advocate to and influence governments and humanitarian organizations to meet objective of Family Focused HIV prevention, care and treatment service.
• Ensures that reports are prepared and submitted to concerned key government offices timely as per the requirement
• Keeps up to date with developments in the program, including sharing best practice for partners and ensure ongoing personal development and learning using different platform
• Facilitate and participates in the documentation and dissemination of lessons learned Region
• Guide the continuous analysis of lessons learnt and practices, to guide the replication and scaling of the project approach and Perform other duties as assigned.
Location: Oromia East Showa, Meki town with travel to other project operation site

Reports to: Dugda CFCO Executive director
Term of employment: One year with possibility of extension based on performance and Budget availability
Immediate Supervisor: DCFCO Executive Director
Job Requirements

Education:
• Master’s Degree in health or social sciences professions, five years experiences and advocacy experience on people living with HIV, direct management of local civil society. PEPFAR experience preferred.
Skills:
• Leadership, problem solving, Negotiation,
• Excellent oral and written communication in English,
• Strong knowledge of computer micro soft windows environment, Analysis, and networking.
• Knowledge of Local language particularly Afan Oromo proficiency is mandatory.

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Associate Degree
