Project and Partnership Manager

With a clear vision of learning and training digital future, you help educators and training providers leveraging the latest IT technologies and designing impactful digital learning content.

The LMDDC is recruiting a Project and Partnership Manager for the development and operational monitoring of partnerships as well as for the analysis of third party funding opportunities and project monitoring.

Your tasks

The Luxembourg Media & Digital Design Centre (LMDDC) is a new structure. The challenges for this position are:

  • In collaboration with the management, you participate actively to the elaboration of the LMDDC’s partnership strategy and the development of a portfolio of national and European projects.
  • You support the management to set up partnerships with the learning and training stakeholders in Luxembourg and around Europe (EdTech, creative industries, training organisations, public institutions and research).
  • You monitor collaborations and partnerships, and run the network.
  • You actively monitor national and European funding opportunities in relation to the LMDDC strategy.
  • You develop a portfolio of national and European projects from the preparation of bids to the successful completion of projects; and the capitalisation of results with LMDDC staff.
  • As the project portfolio is developing, you set-up and manage a team of project managers.

Your experiences

You demonstrate successful experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Business development in e-learning or other digital services.
  • Project management with multiple partners. Previous experience in writing and managing European projects is an asset.
  • Experience in cultural management and web media production is an additional asset.

Your skills

In order to carry out the various tasks, the key skills for success are:

  • You are organised, rigorous and act with diplomacy.
  • You have a good understanding of national and European funding.
  • You have excellent writing skills in English for the preparation of project bids, for administrative and financial reporting and for communicating activities and results to the public and stakeholders.
  • You enjoy interacting with specialists from different fields involved in collaborative projects.
  • You enjoy translating innovative technological opportunities into functional services in line with the needs expressed by stakeholders.
  • You have a good understanding of the LMDDC strategy and of its potential partners to create strong synergies and ensure the achievement of common objectives.
  • You are familiar with agile project management methods.
  • You are a good team manager acting as an inspiring and motivating leader, and, together with the whole team, ensure the respect of deadlines and the quality of deliverables.
  • You are creative and open-minded, and have a systemic understanding of issues.
  • You have a strong sense of teamwork and partnership with public institutions and private organisations.

You have a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in the fields of economics, management and/or communication. In addition, you can demonstrate successful professional field experience in project management or business development in relation to public institutions.


Fluency in French or German, and English is required. Fluency in Luxembourgish to interact with stakeholders will be an asset and may be required after recruitment. Training will be offered as the case may be.
