Description

Job Purpose:

  • To conduct sales analysis for the various class of business, analyzing both product lines and the overall profitability of each business unit. In addition, to develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure each business unit data and reporting needs are met.
  • Analyze business unit concentrating on areas to maximize high return on investing
  • On an agreed periodic basis, monitor and report on each business unit through detailed analysis, outlining variances on volumes and margins
  • Prepare comprehensive, accurate and up to date business unit reports on periodic and adhoc basis
  • Track performance on the balance scorecard initiatives and KPIs and prepare appropriate reports
  • Drive accurate bottom up demand planning and forecasting process for each business unit
  • Support Business Line Managers develop an annual business development plan based on market dynamics and financial analysis
  • Conduct internal and external data collection related to business unit strategic plans and initiatives
  • Review financial performance information and prepare relevant analysis in coordination with key stakeholders
  • Work closely with Line Managers to ensure that all business strategy analysis needs are addressed in a timely and accurately
  • Support Frontline Sales persons with all their data and analytical needs

 

Requirements

  • A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or Business Administration
  • Work experience as Finance Analyst, Finance Planner or Finance Business Partner
  • Skilled in Microsoft excel application
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft PowerPoint presentation
  • Ability to use data interpretation tools
  • Able to work independently but a team player as well
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Active listening and questioning skills, essential in gathering data and requirements
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving with the ability to see root cause
  • Investigative and influencing skills to dig deeper into a problem
  • Ability to deliver good presentations and reports to peers and senior stakeholders
