This an exciting new role at Refuge to lead and compliment an existing body of successful survivor engagement work taking place with survivors of domestic abuse at Refuge.
The purpose of newly formed Survivor Engagement team is to greater embed and strengthen the voices of women survivors of domestic abuse so that it better shapes and centres survivor voices in all that we do including in service provision and in lived experience activism. The Survivor Engagement Lead will develop and direct the organisational approach to survivor engagement with the support and expertise of staff within the team, and in consultation and collaboration with the organisation.
The successful postholder will provide organisation-wide strategic leadership and management for Refuge’s approach to Survivor Engagement at a crucial moment for women and children escaping domestic abuse.
The Survivor Engagement Lead will be a member of the Senior Management team and will report to the Interim Director of Operational Change.
