The Brand Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our 33 subsidiary company’s brands and reputations. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing brand performance, and creating marketing campaigns to promote the brand. Success in the position looks like a strong and recognizable brand, with high levels of brand awareness, customer loyalty, and positive brand sentiment.

The Brand Specialist works closely with the management teams within our subsidiaries such as marketing, advertising, and public relations to ensure that brand messaging is consistent across all channels. They also collaborate with product development teams to ensure that new products align with the company’s brand identity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company’s brand and reputation.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences and competitors.
  • Analyze brand performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create marketing campaigns to promote the brand and reach target audiences.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels, including advertising, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure new products align with the company’s brand identity.
  • Manage partnerships with external agencies to support brand initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze brand performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, advertising, and public relations, to ensure that brand messaging is consistent and aligned with overall company goals.
  • Report on brand performance metrics to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in marketing or business administration may be preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in brand management or marketing
  • Experience conducting market research and analyzing performance metrics
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Experience managing partnerships with external agencies
  • Experience in a leadership or management role may be preferred

Certifications:

  • Certifications in brand management, marketing, or related areas may be preferred, such as:Certified Brand Manager (CBM)
  • Digital Marketing Certification (DMC)
  • Professional Certified Marketer (PCM)
  • Google Analytics Certification
