Role Overview: As a Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll be instrumental in developing strategies and customer programs that drive adoption, loyalty, upsell, and advocacy opportunities within our customer base. Your primary focus will be on the success and growth of our existing customers. If you have a passion for helping people and a customer-centric mindset, this role is for you!

Location: We’re a remote-first company and are seeking candidates in the US or Canada (except Québec).


  1. Strategize:

    • Develop a customer program strategy to support adoption, expansion, and retention goals.
  2. Collaborate Cross-functionally:

    • Work closely with Marketing and Customer Success teams to implement targeted marketing, events, and initiatives that drive customer upsell, expansion, and retention.
  3. Manage and Create Content:

    • Oversee and create content for various channels, including customer newsletters, email nurtures, in-app messaging, social media, and webinars. Tailor content to support product releases, new offerings, customer onboarding, adoption, upsell campaigns, and advocacy programs.
  4. Report:

    • Provide reporting and insights on the effectiveness of customer programs and tactics, including email, in-app messaging, webinars, and social campaigns.
  5. Analyze Data:

    • Use data-driven insights to identify customer behavior, preferences, and needs. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.
  6. Create Campaigns:

    • Develop customer programs and campaigns based on customer insights, utilizing “behavior-based” triggers.
  7. Be a Jungle Scout Ambassador:

    • Influence and energize customers to take actions that increase the value Jungle Scout brings.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Customer Marketer: You have at least 3+ years of experience as a B2B SaaS customer marketer, utilizing tools like Marketo, Pendo, ChurnZero, Gainsight, and Salesforce to build engaging programs.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have a strategic mindset, focusing on the bigger picture, and can create impactful content that seamlessly fits into customer programs.
  • Effective Communicator and Collaborator: Your exceptional communication skills, whether in writing or presenting, enable you to craft engaging content and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Customer Focus: You possess deep customer empathy and are dedicated to delivering an exceptional programmatic experience.
  • Multiplier: You empower others through coaching and mentoring, encouraging open guidance and feedback.
