As the HR Generalist in our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role as a culture leader, focusing on employee engagement, managing relationships with vendors and service providers, and contributing to the new hire process. Position-Related Duties and Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Act as a culture leader with a focus on employee engagement.
  2. Manage relationships with applicable vendors and service providers.
  3. Correspond with associates and relevant parties to resolve payroll issues, acting as a payroll backup.
  4. Assist Talent Acquisition with tasks such as screening candidates and facilitating candidate pre-employment testing.
  5. Contribute to the New Hire Onboarding Process.
  6. Run reporting, gather, and analyze data (turnover rate, trends, etc.).
  7. Coordinate meetings/events, manage logistics and communication.
  8. Perform administrative tasks such as correspondence, expense reporting, document retention & filing, organization of plant meetings/functions, and building presentations.
  9. Manage office supply and plant supply budgets, handling purchasing, invoicing, and miscellaneous financial tasks.
  10. Assist with ad hoc projects and assignments.

Education and Additional Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR experience or relevant work experience in a high-demand support role.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and Outlook are required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational self-management are keys to success in this role.
  • Customer Focus: Making customers (external and internal) needs your primary focus with the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and helpfully, building credibility and rapport.
  • Develop an organized filing system for maintaining and retrieving departmental records and documentation (e.g., correspondence, reference materials, and notes) in paper or electronic format.
  • Experience with department-specific databases (e.g., Kronos, SAP, KO Buy, team share-points).
