Job Description:
As the Project Manager in East Chad, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing humanitarian projects aimed at providing assistance to refugees and displaced persons in the region. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a commitment to humanitarian principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee humanitarian projects in East Chad
  • Coordinate project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including government authorities, donors, and local communities
  • Supervise project staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Prepare and submit project reports to donors and DRC headquarters
  • Monitor and assess the humanitarian situation in East Chad and provide recommendations for program adjustments as necessary


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (international development, humanitarian assistance, etc.)
  • At least 3 years of experience managing humanitarian projects in a similar context
  • Strong project management skills, including budget management, monitoring and evaluation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English (French and Arabic language skills are desirable)
  • Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments
