The Childwick Trustees meet once a year in July to discuss the Jim Joel Fund supported projects which are recommended by Giuliana Bland.

- Pre-schools. Please note that we do not fund any private, community and/or home based pre-schools
- Anything unrelated to training and support of early childhood development programmes in South Africa
- Capital costs i.e. purchase of a vehicle or building costs of any kind Bursaries
- Attendance at international or local conferences Research
