KCSE Results 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is a test that students in Kenya take when they finish secondary school.
The first Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam was given in 1989, at the same time as the last Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) exam. The KCSE replaced the KACE as the entrance requirement for universities in Kenya.
Faith Wambui, an Ongata Rongaian, was the best student in 2013 with 96 to 100 percent, and Naeem Samnakay was the best student in 1989. Samnakay was also the best student on the first KCPE four years earlier.
In 1989, there were 10 subjects on the KCSE, but it was looked at and changed to only 7.

- Step 1: Launch your mobile or laptop web browser.
- In the Address Bar, enter “www.knec-portal.ac.ke”
- Step 3: Find “2022 Online Result Slip “.
- Step four: Select the choice.
- The KCSE 2022 – RESULT SLIPS window will appear in Step 5.
- Enter Your “User Name” and “Password” on the sixth step.
- Click the “Login” button in Step 7.
- Enter Your “KCSE 2022 Index Number” in Step 8.
- Step 9: Enter 2022 in the “Examination Year” field.
- 10th Step: Click the “Find” button.
- Final step- Subject-specific KCSE 2022 results will be displayed. Additionally, candidates can obtain the kcse results 2022 in PDF format.
How to check KCSE Results via sms:
Once the KCSE exam results are released by KNEC, you can view or download them from the KNEC Portal. You can also use Safaricom, Airtel, or Orange to get the results via SMS for a couple Kenyan shilling (KES).
