KCSE Results 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is a test that students in Kenya take when they finish secondary school.

The first Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam was given in 1989, at the same time as the last Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) exam. The KCSE replaced the KACE as the entrance requirement for universities in Kenya.

Faith Wambui, an Ongata Rongaian, was the best student in 2013 with 96 to 100 percent, and Naeem Samnakay was the best student in 1989. Samnakay was also the best student on the first KCPE four years earlier.

In 1989, there were 10 subjects on the KCSE, but it was looked at and changed to only 7.
