This article will walk you through the process of submitting a sassa application under the new guidelines. There have been several modifications in how the SRD R350 Grant is managed after the Coronavirus epidemic has subsided and lockdowns have been lifted. If you have not yet submitted your application, the information below might be helpful.

SASSA, the South African Social Security Agency, is still in charge of the R350 Special Relief of Distress (SRD) payment, which is set to expire in March 2023. This indicates that there is still plenty of time to take advantage of the award. SASSA R350 grant reapplications are available each month for individuals who qualify.

To be eligible for the SRD R350 award, you must satisfy the following requirements:

  1. You must be a South African citizen, refugee, asylum seeker, or holder of a special permit.
  2. You must be between the ages of 18 and 60 to participate.
  3. You must not be receiving social grants on behalf of anybody else, and you must not be contributing to or eligible for UIF payment.
  4. You should also not get any other financial assistance.
