UNISA Second Semester 2023 Application | www.unisa.ac.za; Finally released are the University of South Africa, UNISA Second Semester Application Dates for the second semester of 2022. The second semester’s application deadlines have been a long time coming for UNISA students.

Recently, more than 60% of applicants thought that the UNISA Application Dates – for 2nd Semester would not be released at all; however, here we are; the dates for the UNISA Application have been released below;

Application Dates for the Second Semester 2022:

In June 2022, offers for semester 2 will be made. Offers will be made based on your ability to meet the academic requirements for the program you have chosen, your minimum admission point total, and the number of openings for the qualification for which you have applied.

Between May 10 and May 31, 2022, applicants may apply for admission to undergraduate limited qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and degrees) for the 2022 academic year.

• Limited Honours degrees & Postgraduate diplomas: 10 – 31 May 2022
• Doctoral and master’s degrees: March 3, 2022 to April 30, 2022 (with some exceptions). closed.

 

Once you have successfully applied, you will be able to register at UNISA for the second semester because the application period is only ONE WEEK long. The UNISA registration dates for the second semester are listed below:

• Semester 2 registration for students awaiting results: 20 June – 18 July 2022
• Final date for initial minimum payment for finalization of registration: 31 August 2022

 

Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: online only (excluding the Postgraduate Certificate in Education [PGCE])

Semester 2 registration for new and returning students (semester modules only): 20 June – 18 July 2022

Semester 2 registration for students awaiting results (semester modules only): 20 June – 18 July 2022

Final date for initial minimum payment for finalization of registration: 31 August 2022 during

Offers for semester 2 will be made in June 2023. Offers to be made will be based on the following: whether you meet the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice, your minimum points score, and the number of places available for the qualification for which you have applied.

• Selected honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: 6 – 13 May 2022

First Apply and Then Register.

• Registration happens after your application to study with Unisa has been accepted.
• You will receive an email to confirm the success of your application.
• Your confirmation email will include your student number which you will use when you register.

 

Registration Period

Unisa has a specific registration period in which you are allowed to register for the academic year.

If you do not register in the registration period, your registration will be considered unsuccessful. As stated before, the registration dates for the second semester will open on 11 June 2022 and will close on 13 July 2022.
