In the role of a Marketing intern, you’ll be involved in developing and implementing the company’s multi-channel communication strategies and driving brand awareness.


Part of the role will include assisting the company in designing marketing campaigns to maintaining and supplying the right content for a business campaign, managing social media engagement, running and managing email marketing campaigns and quantitative analysis of website traffic.

You will play an integral part in executing the company’s marketing campaigns. You will be involved throughout the campaign assisting with ideation, planning, implementation and measurement.

It is therefore essential that you have hands-on experience using various digital marketing platforms. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, both in written and spoken word; have an analytical mind, be creative, and possess strong project management skills.

In addition, the individual needs to pay great attention to detail and have time management skills, to be successful in this role.

  • Knowledge of different marketing channels
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics
  • Strong problem-solving acumen

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • A flair for writing good copy
  • The ability to graphic design would be a big bonus (like using Canva for e.g.)
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing

  • Analytical and multitasking skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and executes all web, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  •  Designs build and maintain our social media presence
  •  Measures and reports the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses   against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
  • Plans, execute and measures experiments and conversion tests
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels
  • Evaluates emerging technologies
  • Provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Running email marketing campaigns and weekly newsletters
  • Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management
