The Form Five selection for the academic year 2024-2025 has been officially announced by TAMISEMI. This article provides all the updates on the selection process for students who will join Form Five and various colleges.
NECTA Selection Form 5, 2024
The selection process for Form Five and colleges takes place after the Form Four examination results are announced by the Tanzania Examinations Council (NECTA). The results for the 2023–2024 academic year were announced on January 15, 2024. Students who performed well in their Form Four exams are given priority in the selection process to join either Form Five or public colleges.
Key Announcement
The Minister of State in the Office of the President for Local Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI), Mohamed Mchengerwa, announced on May 30, 2024, that 188,787 out of 197,426 graduates who passed the Form Four exams have been selected to join Form Five and sixth form studies as well as various colleges for the 2024 academic year.
Enrollment Process
Form Five enrollment forms are issued to schools in accordance with TAMISEMI’s rules and regulations. These forms can be accessed through the TAMISEMI website, the post box filled out at the time of graduation, or the selected school.
