With a focus on girls and women, Plan International has been building partnerships for children for over 85 years, operating in more than 80 countries.

The Opportunity:
As Plan International responds to the Ukraine Crisis, the organization is seeking to rapidly expand its portfolio and grow its annual budget to EUR 20-25M. This role will lead fundraising and resource mobilization efforts, focusing on acquiring grants from bilateral and multilateral donors, public appeals, and corporate sector funding opportunities.

About You:
The ideal candidate will be a values-based and feminist leader, committed to gender equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion. They will have experience in purpose-driven resource mobilization and fundraising, with a strong background in proposal development for multilateral and bilateral donors. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver compelling presentations are essential.

Requirements:

  • Academic degree in international development/relations, health, public health, economics, or related technical discipline.
  • Substantive experience in proposal development for multilateral and bilateral donors.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Track record in creating and pursuing new opportunities, with strategic planning and time management skills.
