Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and editing communication materials, including reports, newsletters, and social media posts.
- Support the development and implementation of communication strategies to promote the work of the Resident Coordinator System.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on results and impact data.
- Provide support in organizing and facilitating meetings, workshops, and events.
- Assist in monitoring media coverage and compiling press clippings.
- Undertake research on relevant topics to support communication initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/special skills:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program (or recent graduate) in communications, journalism, international relations, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
- Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.
Additional Information:
- This internship is unpaid and full-time.
- Interns are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and travel.
