OUR INTERVENTION: NIGERIA

Action Against Hunger (ACF) has been operating in Nigeria since 2010, delivering integrated programs in Nutrition, Health, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). In response to the conflict in Borno state since 2017, our mission has expanded to focus on long-term sustainable programs in Health, WASH, Social Protection, and Agriculture. Additionally, we operate in Jigawa and Kano states in the Northwest, and launched a response in Sokoto state following a cholera outbreak. ACF is among the leading agencies implementing the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) in Northeast and Northwest Nigeria, reaching over 2.7 million individuals in 2022. Despite our achievements, the security context poses challenges to our operations.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the ENRICH (BHA) Consortium Coordinator, you will coordinate the implementation and representation of the ENRICH project in Borno state, Nigeria, in collaboration with implementing partners. Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the project effectively and efficiently
• Managing and developing the project team
• Monitoring budget utilization of all consortium partners
• Managing external relations related to the project
• Ensuring project data management and reporting
• Providing timely support to local implementing partners
• Representing the Consortium to national and local authorities and other external partners
• Ensuring good governance and coordination of project implementation
• Leading program strategies, planning, and implementation
• Implementing the project’s partnership approach
• Supporting timely and quality reporting of the project
• Ensuring compliance with donor expectations and project quality standards

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s Degree in project management, humanitarian studies, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating multi-sectoral projects in volatile environments
• Advanced knowledge of donor guidelines, especially BHA
• Experience supervising technical teams and managing a consortium
• Fluent in English

YOUR EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

For international candidates:

• Fixed-term contract under French legislation
• Monthly gross salary from €2597 to €2968
