Number of Positions: 01

Contract Type and Duration: Short Term Contractual Service Agreement basis; duration will be 6 months with a possibility of extension subject to availability of funds and performance.

Salary & Benefits: Tk.45,593/-(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances; Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b, and subsidized canteen. Transport and Daycare facilities are subject to space availability.

Description: The Field Research Supervisor will be part of the Environmental Health and WASH Research Group within the Health Systems and Population Studies Division at icddr,b. Reporting to the Assistant Program Manager, the Supervisor will be responsible for identifying respondents and collecting data to support research studies in accordance with project-specific field research procedures and organizational guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Understand project scope, methodology, timelines, and target groups.
• Select target population and conduct interviews at field sites.
• Ensure valid and complete data collection as per guidelines.
• Take notes during qualitative interviews and transcript qualitative data.
• Recheck and clean data, escalate and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide support and guidance to team members, demonstrate interviewing techniques, and intervene when necessary.
• Submit monthly and quarterly progress reports on field activities.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in any discipline.
• 2 years of experience in research projects.
• Location: Dhaka and WASH Field Sites.
