Expected Duration:

Duties and responsibilities:

The intern will be expected to:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of digital communication strategies.
  • Support the management of social media platforms and online campaigns.
  • Contribute to the creation and dissemination of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and written materials.
  • Monitor and analyze digital media metrics, and prepare reports on audience engagement.
  • Assist in maintaining the organization’s website and other digital platforms.
  • Provide general support to the public information team as needed.

Qualifications/Special Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a university degree program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in communications, journalism, digital media, international relations, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management tools.
  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing software is an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Languages:

Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French or other UN languages is an advantage.

  • This internship is unpaid and full-time.
  • The intern is responsible for arranging their own accommodation and covering any related expenses.
  • The internship does not guarantee employment with the United Nations.

Intern Specific Text:
