Overview:

The Resident Coordinator System is seeking an International Consultant to conduct an evaluation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for the period 2021-2025 in Tunisia. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the assessment of UN interventions and their impact on sustainable development goals in the country.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluation Planning: Develop an evaluation plan, including methodology, tools, and timeline, in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

  2. Data Collection: Collect qualitative and quantitative data through interviews, surveys, and document reviews to assess the implementation and results of the UNSDCF.

  3. Analysis: Analyze findings to identify key achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations for future programming.

  4. Report Writing: Prepare a comprehensive evaluation report documenting the evaluation process, findings, conclusions, and recommendations in accordance with established guidelines.

  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to present and discuss evaluation findings and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in conducting evaluations of development programs, preferably within the United Nations system or international organizations.

  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of evaluation methodologies, data analysis techniques, and reporting standards.

  • Sectoral Knowledge: Familiarity with sustainable development goals and relevant thematic areas such as governance, economic development, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is an asset.

  • Consultancy Category: This position falls under the category of Consultants (CON).
