The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is offering an internship opportunity in human rights, specifically focusing on investigation support. This internship provides a unique chance to gain practical experience in the field of human rights, particularly in supporting investigations related to human rights violations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting research and analysis on human rights issues.
• Provide support in the collection and documentation of evidence related to human rights violations.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a graduate or post-graduate degree program in law, human rights, international relations, or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with a demonstrated interest in human rights issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of another UN official language is an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and as part of a team.
• Previous experience or coursework related to human rights, investigations, or legal research is preferred.
