ACTED HQ:

Acted’s head office, established in Paris in 2000, coordinates the organization’s global activities. Employing 110 people in various departments, the HQ supports 42 Country Directorates and acts as a focal point for Acted’s management.

Responsibilities: The HQ Logistics Intern will assist the Operations Department in managing routine validations for multiple countries and supporting the development and implementation of logistics tools and procedures. Additionally, they may handle operational functions for specific situations, such as assisting in humanitarian crises response and remote training missions.

Main Duties:

• Support procurement plans and waiver requests collection and review (40%)
• Publish tenders online and follow up on related contract awards (25%)
• Analyze monthly country logistics reports (10%)
• Support Grant Management on logistical aspects (10%)
• File and archive logistics department documents (5%)
• Assist in the development of logistics tools and procedures (10%)

Expected Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering or business school graduate, minimum BAC + 4 completed
• Knowledge of logistics/supply chain concepts and related experience
• Analytical skills, ability to manage priorities, multitasking abilities, rigor
• Strong interest in operational procedures and processes
• Autonomy, reactivity, ability to propose solutions, creativity, and dynamism
• Fluency in English required
• Essential computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong interest in humanitarian work and sharing Acted’s values

Conditions:

• Monthly salary (legal minimum amount): €1000 nets
• Food vouchers (€9)
• 50% of transportation costs (Navigo pass) covered
