We’re embarking on an important initiative to assess the potato value chain in Rwanda, and we’re seeking a Junior Consultant to join our team.

Your Role:

As a Junior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the assessment of the potato value chain in Rwanda. Your work will contribute to identifying opportunities for enhancing the efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability of the potato sector, ultimately improving livelihoods and food security for farmers and communities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Data Collection: Assist in gathering data and information related to the potato value chain, including production, processing, marketing, and consumption.

  • Analysis: Support the analysis of the value chain, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats at each stage of the process.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across the public and private sectors, including farmers, government agencies, NGOs, and industry associations.

  • Report Writing: Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations for improving the potato value chain.
