We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Program Officer/Supply Chain Management.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of the Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) project at FHI 360 Senegal, the Supply Chain Management Specialist will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support in supply chain management for the treatment of seven diseases: lymphatic filariasis, blinding trachoma, onchocerciasis, schistosomiasis, and three intestinal worms.
  • Support coordination activities and efforts by the government to strengthen the supply chain management system and health product management using evidence-based data from the logistics management information system, aiming to reduce stockouts, lower costs, and eliminate waste.
  • Support capacity building at all levels of Senegal’s Ministry of Health to strengthen national/state systems for procurement and supply chain management of health products.
  • Develop work plans, prepare presentations, and support other program-related objectives and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, pharmacy, epidemiology, biostatistics, demography and population studies, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management in a USAID-funded project and in report writing.
  • Training and/or certification in supply chain management preferred.
  • Desired experience with Neglected Tropical Diseases in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary context.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, with English proficiency desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
