Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in law, criminology, political science, international relations, or a related field. Ph.D. preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum seven years of relevant experience in research and analysis of crime and justice issues, with a focus on political, peace, and humanitarian contexts.
  • Skills: Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, strong communication skills, and a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other official UN languages is an asset.
