Main Purpose: Providing senior level support in operational and administrative areas, including administrative and office support, HR, finance, and travel logistics. Ensuring compliance with established rules and guidelines, proposing solutions to difficult situations, and contributing to the improvement of operational support services and delivery processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Admin and operational support services
  • Integration and coordination of support services
  • Correspondence drafting and quality control
  • HR administrative actions and data input
  • Preparation and control of accounts
  • Maintenance of official travel plan and arrangements
  • Organization and coordination of meetings and events
  • Maintenance of filing systems and databases
  • Keeping abreast of administrative rules and regulations
  • Evaluation and proposal of improvements to work methods
  • Coordination of general administrative duties

Minimum Requirements:

  • Secondary school education completion
  • Minimum six years of general administration and office support work experience
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
  • Excellent command of English (working knowledge of another official language of the Organization or an official national language of the duty station is desirable)
  • Good knowledge of PC software (Microsoft Office)
  • Other technical and behavioral competencies as specified, including adaptability, coordination skills, drafting skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a multicultural environment with sensitivity to diversity
