Meta bundles Instagram, Facebook, Messenger settings in new Accounts Center

Meta Platforms is rolling out a new Accounts Center that will see Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram settings moved to the same place.

Users who use numerous applications may manage their settings more easily thanks to the Account Center, which allows them to change personal information, passwords and security, ad preferences, and payments.

Users can change their Messenger settings from Instagram and vice versa because it will be available in the settings menus of all three sites.

The standalone accounts that Quest owners who don’t wish to use Facebook accounts can use will also be included.

It will also include the standalone accounts that Quest owners who don’t want a Facebook account can use.

However, it should be noted that Meta won’t add all accounts to the Account Center automatically.

The business stated in a blog post that it was optional to add several accounts to the same Accounts Center. If you want, you can keep your accounts in separate Accounts Centers.

According to Meta, it has also enhanced its ad options, introducing a section for Activity information and allowing users more control over their advertisements.

The business claimed that the part titled “Activity information” will “help users readily understand how their activity sent from other websites and apps is used to fuel the adverts they see.”

On Thursday, January 19, 2023, Meta turned on the new Accounts Center function and said that it would gradually be made available to all Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram users.
