About Wesolve4x

Wesolve4x, as a non-profit organization, offers Mathematics tuition to students on the weekends. The primary focus of Wesolve4x is on math tutoring. In South Africa, they want to see more students who thrive in math. To do this, they provide math tutoring to students in grades 4 through grade 12. However, since many of their students come from impoverished families, math skills are insufficient.

Students require food. They also need assistance at home. So once a month, the corporation sends them a grocery hamper. To assist with homework at home, kids also teach their parents math. They explain their model as Maths + Parents – Hunger = Elevate the Math Pass Rate for this reason.

Wesolve4x Actuarial Science Bursary 2023

Wesolve4x is making a call for applications for the Wesolve4x Actuarial Science Bursary 2023. The bursaries are only for Actuarial Science students in their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

The bursary will cover for:

• Registration fees yearly
• Full tuition fees
• Meals
• Accommodations
• Textbook allowance
• Pocket allowance
• Travel allowance

The successful applicants will offer weekend math enrichment sessions for students in grades 4 through 12 at a few local public or private schools, such as (Maths Tutor).

If your applications are successful, Wesolve4x will contact you between January 30 to February 5, 2023. If you do not get any calls or emails, please consider your application declined.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the bursary, candidates must fulfill the following requirements at entry level, failing which their applications will stand canceled:

For 12th graders:

• South African citizens
• You can also be a non-South African citizen to apply.
• Strong mathematics skills with a passion for numbers are essential
• You must apply for an Actuarial Science degree, either undergraduate or postgraduate in 2023.

For current Actuarial Science Students:

• South African citizens
• You can also be a non-South African citizen to apply.
• You must study for the aforesaid degree at a tertiary institution.
• You must be either an undergraduate or postgraduate student.
• You must possess a passion for numbers.

Applicants must submit the following documents to apply for the bursary, failing which the applications will stand disqualified:

• CV (Curriculum Vitae)
• A certified copy of your ID/passport, not more than 3 months old.
• Latest academic records (on the letterhead of the institution)
• 3 term results (for Grade 12 learners) and email final result in January 2023.

Closing Date

The last date to apply for the Wesolve4x Actuarial Science Bursary 2023 is 30 January 2023, after which applications won’t be accepted.
