This is a really strange country,  called Iran. Iranian footballer Amir Nasr-Azadani was given a 26-year prison sentence by a revolutionary court. He blames him for the murders of three security personnel and two other crimes committed during the protests that have been sweeping the Persia since mid-September.

According to IranWire, the 26-year-old former player for Rah-Ahan, Tractor, and Gol-e Rayhan was accused by the Iranian government of crime known as “moharebeh,” or “inimitié against God.”
This punishment was the same as that endured by the young Mohsen Shekari and fighter Majid Reza Rahnavard, who were executed in public in Mashad for the same reasons as Amir Nasr-Azadani following
The football player won’t know this sort right now and is hence terrified of death.

How long will Amir Nasr-Azadani serve time behind bars?

The player has now received sentence of 16 years in prison for his involvement in the killing of the three Basij officers, five for organizing crime and conspiring to perpetrate it, and five more for belonging to unlicensed organizations with the aim of endangering public safety.
Since he will serve both terms consecutively, he will essentially serve total of 16 years in prison.
Nasr-Azadani has played for variety of Iranian clubs, including Tractor Sazi, for which Spanish manager Paco Jémez recently agreed to take over as head coach, from 2016 to 2018.
Following the murder of the Basij officers in Isfahan, Saleh Mirhashemi, Majid Kazemi Sheikh Shabani, and Saeed Yaqoubi were found guilty of “moharebe,” which roughly translates to “waging war against God,” in the same trial. They now join 11 other defendants who, as things stand, will receive the death penalty.
The three have additionally been given 10-year prison term.
Sixth defendant Jaber Mirhashemi was found not guilty, but fifth defendant Soheil Jahangiri was given two-year prison term for his participation in the same crimes.
According to Mizan, two of the accused were represented by court-appointed attorneys, while the other four were represented by their own attorneys.
