Detailed Description

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine invites applications for development cooperation projects for the implementation of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Support Program in Ukraine in 2021.

Program Concepts

  • Development of learning opportunities in the regions of Ukraine.
  • Partner country (ies) Ukraine
  • Area (s) of cooperation Education
  • Project goal: Development of education and training services in the regions of Ukraine (development of secondary, non-formal and vocational education opportunities).

Project objectives:

  • To contribute to the development of the “New School of Ukraine” by developing curricula and training for children and youth, giving priority to children and youth from Eastern Ukraine.
  • Organize teacher training activities, giving priority to teachers from Eastern Ukraine.
  • To organize children’s and youth camps and provide non-formal education services to camp participants.
  • Target group (s) Children, youth, education experts.
  • Estimated duration of the project implementation from 01/05/2021 to 15/11/2021.
  • Additional information: If available, additional evaluation criteria for project applications that will be prepared according to this project concept or other information relevant to the applicants shall be indicated.
  • Experience in implementing similar projects;
  • Experience of cooperation with partners in Ukraine;
  • Financial contribution of the project promoter and / or other sources of financing.

Support for vulnerable social groups:

Project objectives:

  • To contribute to the protection of women’s rights and their economic empowerment (assistance in acquiring the necessary competencies and skills, increasing women’s opportunities for employment or starting a business)
  • To promote the social inclusion, economic activity, educational activities and cultural expression of national minorities
  • Target group (s) Women, members of national minorities
  • Estimated duration of the project implementation from 01/05/2021 to 15/11/2021
  • Additional information: If available, additional evaluation criteria for project applications that will be prepared according to this project concept or other information relevant to the applicants shall be indicated.
  • Experience in implementing projects of a similar nature
  • Experience of cooperation with partners in Ukraine
  • Project promoter’s financial contribution and / or other sources of funding
  • The contribution of the Ukrainian energy sector to the European green course
  • Partner country (ies) Ukraine
  • Area (s) of cooperation Energy
  • Aim of the project is to contribute to the goals of the European Green Course by implementing smart technologies

Project objectives:

  • Introducing Ukrainian energy experts to the good practice of Lithuania or other Member States
  • Consultations / training for Ukrainian energy specialists
  • Preparation of proposals for project continuity
  • Target group (s) Civil servants and experts working in the field of energy
  • Estimated duration of the project implementation from 1 May 2021 to 15 November 2021 (depending on the project activities, the contract may be signed for a longer period)
  • Additional information: If available, additional evaluation criteria for project applications that will be prepared according to this project concept or other information relevant to the applicants shall be indicated.
  • Experience in implementing projects of a similar nature
  • Project promoter’s financial contribution and / or other sources of funding

Funding Information

  • 100 thousand Euros will be allocated for all projects in 2021.

Grant Criteria

  • The project application must indicate at least one partner in Ukraine and include his / her consent to cooperate in the implementation of the project. A partner in Ukraine is not required if the application is submitted by a Ukrainian entity or an international organization.
  • Natural and legal persons of the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine, other organizations and their subdivisions may submit project applications in the prescribed form together with the project estimate in Lithuanian or English by e-mail.
