Responsibilities:
- Guide managers in the process of procurement activities in line with UNICEF policies and guidelines.
- Facilitate contract processing for consultants and external partners, including document preparation, filing, and logistical arrangements.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor lists, partner databases, and consultant rosters.
- Manage communications and workflow to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain office calendar, arrange meetings, and take minutes as required.
- Support capacity development activities and conferences by making logistical arrangements.
- Provide travel assistance to staff members, including arranging travel and processing related documentation.
- Manage invoice processing, including collection, filing, and verification of documents.
- Support the management of administrative supplies, office equipment, and inventory.
- Monitor staff attendance and maintain absence records.
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education, supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may replace three years of related work experience; master’s degree may replace additional two years.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is an asset.
