Overview of WRI India Operations:

The WRI Operations team supports the organization’s front-line work by interacting with clients, government agencies, statutory bodies, board of directors, vendors, and consultants. They ensure smooth implementation of WRI programs by providing support and problem-solving across various functions such as Budget and Finance, Accounting and Reporting, Legal Counsel, Human Resource, IT, and Facilities management.

About the Program: WRI’s Operations department aims to enhance operational capabilities across global offices by promoting sustainable growth, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. The Macintosh Administrator/Help Desk Support Analyst II will primarily focus on enterprise-level planning/configuration and support for Apple computers, along with tier 1 general office and windows support.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a consistent user experience across all macOS devices
  • Leverage Jamf or similar MacBook MDM tool for configuration and support
  • Plan and implement macOS upgrades and rollouts
  • Maintain client hardware standards and test new technology to improve the computing environment
  • Serve as the escalation point between different support teams for macOS-related issues
  • Manage and administer client system infrastructure for macOS endpoints
  • Develop configuration policies, test and document findings, and update procedures
  • Keep up with Apple and Jamf communities to enhance device management
  • Escalate priority support issues and provide relevant information to senior staff
  • Maintain positive relationships with business lines and other departments
  • Prioritize and schedule work to maintain department service level agreements
  • Basic networking skills and troubleshooting

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
  • 4-7 years of relevant full-time work experience in Mac OS application support
  • Experience supporting users in a remote/help desk environment
  • Proficiency in Mac OS and MS Office 365 suite
  • Full fluency in English, second language preferred
  • Existing work authorization in India

Additional Information:

  • Location: Delhi/Mumbai, India
  • Contract Type: Local ICA Specialist
  • Contract Level: LICA Specialist-11
  • Duration: 1 year, extendable based on performance and project requirements
  • Salary Range: INR 1100000-1300000
