Are you skilled in reporting and passionate about environmental affairs? The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a Reporting Consultant to join our team in Brussels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare high-quality reports on environmental issues, initiatives, and activities.
• Compile and analyze data from various sources to support reporting requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and input for reports.
• Contribute to the development of communication materials and presentations based on reporting findings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in report writing, preferably in the field of environmental affairs or related sectors.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise reports.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• Familiarity with environmental policies, issues, and frameworks is desirable.
