KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The candidate is expected to deliver on the following detailed key performance areas:

  1. Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends

  2. Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives

  3. Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting

  4. Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes

  5. Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing

data

  1. Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis

  2. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions,

and trends

  1. General Duties

a) Analysing targets.

b) Meeting with department heads.

c) Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast

processes.

d) Providing back-office services

  1. Teamwork

a) Ability to work closely with others

b) Being pro-active in assisting others

c) Contribution to business unit meetings and brain storming sessions

d) Mentoring and coaching of interns and peers

  1. Adhoc duties

a) Assignments from the CEO and CIDO as and when required

REQUIREMENTS

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Investment, Financial accounting, or other related fields at NQF level 6
  • Ideally: a relevant NQF 7 degree/qualification
  • No work experience in a related field.
  • The applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
