Role Summary: Summer Sales and Merchandising Associate (Summer 2024)

We’re seeking a Summer Sales and Merchandising Associate to merchandise Labatt’s awesome brands in a way that leads to a future with more cheers. This entry-level, full-time contract position includes the use of a company vehicle and offers the opportunity to grow within a leading beer company. Operating in a diverse market, this role focuses on improving sales through the implementation of visual marketing tools and campaigns.

Job Responsibilities:

Entry-level summer position for someone looking to start or develop their career
Support day-to-day sales & marketing activities as required and directed
Placement of temporary and permanent signage to best impact the consumer experience
Building brand and promotional displays in retail environments
Delivering promotional material to licensees within specific timeframes
Building positive relationships with key venue & event contacts
Attending, managing, and participating in brand experience promotions
Being available ‘on-call’ for the duration of events and promotions
Assist in the general set up and tear down of events
Completion of daily call report
Occasional miscellaneous organizational duties in the warehouse/brewery/sales office

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in post-secondary education
Valid unrestricted driver’s license required
Smart Serve Certification an asset
Positive & enthusiastic attitude
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment
Outstanding time management skills, coupled with the ability to coordinate and prioritize
