Letter of Verification of Results

e-Services : Apply for Letters of Verification As an Individual.

Instructions: To apply online for Verification /Confirmation /Replacement /Certification of results Passlips or Certificates as an Individual, You must have the requirements below.

A) An Introduction Letter from the Former School addressed to the Executive Secretary, UNEB.

B) A Valid Identity Card

C) A Letter from Police, in case of loss or damage of Slip/Certificate.

D) The Payment is 50,000 Ugx for an Ordinary Letter, 100,000 Ugx for a Hard Card that serves as substitute for a Certificate and 300,000 Ugx for Political/Special Verification documents. (Payable Through Airtel/MTN Mobile Money or Bank Deposits -Guidelines given during the application process.)

Note: Application on behalf of another, Authorization Letter and Identity Document from the Candidate is Required.

• Equating of Foreign Results

Instructions: <<Download Guidelines For Equating>>To apply online for Equating of Academic Documents, the Applicant shall:

A) Provide Information about the Institution that awarded the Academic Qualification and that that requires the equated results such as Postal Address, Telephone, Email etc.

B) Request the National Examination Body that issued the Academic Document to send a Verified Copy addressed to the Executive Director, UNEB by email at [email protected]

C) Upload a fully Filled and Signed Declaration form <<Download Declaration Form>>

D) Provide details about the Applicant like Name, Valid ID, Email etc. Note:
1. Academic qualification documents (e.g. certificates) that are not written in English Language must be translated by the Embassy of their respective country or any other recognized translating institution.
2. Each document from East Africa will be charged 200,000 UGX, while those from outside East Africa will be charged 250,000 UGX, payable through Airtel/MTN Mobile Money or Bank Deposits. An invoice/Payment advice will be generated for the applicant during the application process.
3. Applicants should not pay before the documents are reviewed & Accepted by UNEB, UNEB shall then alert the Applicant to proceed with the payments and therefore UNEB shall only start equating after the invoice has been paid.
4. The equating process takes Minimum 5(five) working days from the date of payment.
5. The equated documents shall be sent directly to the requesting institution.
6. Email/SMS Alerts/Notifications about the equating progress shall be sent to the provided contacts of the applicant.
7. No refund shall be made for equated documents.
8. UNEB shall not be held liable for any forgeries and alteration of equated results.
9. Post-Secondary School Qualifications (DIPLOMAS & DEGREES) are NOT equated by UNEB, contact National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).

• Centre Validation

Instructions:To apply online for a New examination center, Center Expansion, Center Re-instatement, Change of Center Name or Change of Center Geographical Location, You must have the requirements below.

A) Information about the Institution, Student Enrollment, Curriculum, Buildings, Furniture, laboratories etc.

B) Sketch Map (Directions) to the Institution from a known township.

C) List of Equipment/Chemicals available in the Labaratories. Download the <<Accepted Excel template file>>

C) List of Teaching Staff Members. Download the <<Accepted Excel template file>>

D) The Payment is 500,000 Ugx, Payable Through Airtel/MTN Mobile Money or Bank Deposits.
